The original Hooters is/was on Gulf to Bay just as you get into Clearwater from Tampa. Go pay homage to my second favorite orange and white team.

We're staying at Clearwater, but don't mind taking a day or two to visit other places. When we stay in Panama we usually visit other beaches a couple of times. I actually thought about driving to Crystal river for a day while there for a boat ride.

I live in Homosassa, about 6 miles down the road from Crystal River. The Crystal and Homosassa Rivers are very nice for the scenery and wildlife viewing. The fishing is great in both areas.
