To be dead honest I got a close personal friend that lives in citrus county Fl that got recruited by Zook when he was in HS down in pahokee Fl. He's the only one I can tolerate.

Oh yeah another thing wacko, I ain't gonna lie. I wanted Muchump both times but he turned us down. BUT he did help bring us dapper Dan the man Coach Dooley. So I ain't too mad at him, but he is still a gator.

Hey clay travis matters yo.....As far as flowerda, I am curious to see if myers o talent can run weisfense. Most of urbans O consintraited on talent and misdirection. I think charlie's O will be back to basics for some of UF's talent.

I remember when cryer came into the league everybody was in love with his offense and people thought it was so new and revolutionary. I ain't no expert but I do know a little about football and I told people that BS offense was nothing more than ancient offenses from the past like the single wing, T formation, triple option etc. Put into spread formation to spread the defense out to take away assignment football on defense. We see if you have a glorified fullback at QB it works, pocket passer back you might as well scrap it.

I agree it will be very interesting to see how they adjust to ol flat tops offense.

I think urban's heart/panic attack came last year when he realized defenses were catching on to the schemes. I don't think he gave a lackluster coaching effort... I just think aside from not being able to teach a qb and center how to snap the ball, I don't think D's were falling for their schemes. I mean now every other team you play in fbs is running that spread garbage.

Yeah he tucked tail and ran when he realized he couldn't win with out his boy toy.
Honestly I would have a tiny bit of respect for him if he would had stayed for the 2011 season and try to work with Brantly and adjust the offense for Brantly.

Yes sir, I agree that defenses are catching on to this BS offense. It's only a fad, it will fade. When the option came out back in the day it was hot stuff!! But now you hardly see it ran. Except for the service academies, which they run it very well.

I like to hear Clay talk, he's entertaining and goes all or nothing. Him saying on the radio we'll win by two touch downs really means he thinks we have a chance to win.

If you go over the top...you can end up being the next J Rome. If you stay middle of the fence...you get to be Jeff Jacobie on a local sports talk station.

Damn good post my friend!! Never thought about it that way, but he is a hell of a self promoter. I hate kuharski with a passion out of everybody on 104.5!! He talks about clay self promoting when he is just as bad.

No...best chance was last year because UF sucked but we had first year coach with new system and QB. Florida has a way better OC this year and more talent than us. We will lose...again. Hope not...but we prolly will. It's gonna take some time.

Yes we should had won last year, but they are in a totally new system this year. They will struggle, we gotta strike while the iron is hot

I tend to agree that if you were to get us, it's this year.

that being said, you will be favored when we go to neyland next year, but our defense in 2012 will just be plain nasty.

7 of our 11 starters on defense this year will be sophomores or freshmen.
