the show, with little meddling from Fulmer, then perhaps he should not stay because the offense is cringingly bad. There is always much talk about Fulmer meddling with the O, and I would like to know to what degree it's true. I have no doubt he meddles some--I saw him holding a play chart yesterday, that is evidence enough. Did Clawson think Crompton was his best QB? Was it his decision to start him, or did Fulmer intervene.
We don't have a strong offensive identity now, don't do anything well--and except for Jones, who doesn't get the ball enuf, we're a slow team by today's standards. You need a //good short passing// game today--A qb and receivers and backs who can execute slants and screens and hooks; throws to the TE--and the Vols don't have it.
