That was a lot of class that the UT team did today by seeing Lattimore off the field . Both teams greeted him at midfield while he was being taken off the field. Many of you may not know what a great person he is off the field. Prayers to him and thanks to those players for that. Good luck for the rest of the season. I am pulling for you.:peace:

At the end of the day, it is just a game after all. Hate to see anybody get seriously injured. Prayers sent to him.

Dooley may never prove to be a winning coach, BUT he has at least managed to return some class to the program. I was proud of the show of support for Lattimore. It was obviously genuine.

I think it speaks volumes for how the entire body of college football respects what Marcus Lattimore represents to the sport.

Hate for that to happen to anyone, especially someone that has just come back from a bad injury.

Heres to a speedy recovery ML. This Vol is pulling for you.

I seen it and i am glad the Vols did what they did. Show class. But my problem with this whole thing is that players today game do not tackle. They dive for a players knees, legs and this is what can happen. I see this alot. It a wander alot more players have not got hurt. Hit the guy up high wrap up and tackle the guy.

The injury itself is heartbreaking but if you knew the kid you would know how great he is & represents what all student athletes should strive for. To be as gifted as he is he's the most humble guy you would meet. To see guys that squander their lives & ability everyday & then see something happen to a guy that deserves so much more is frustrating, heartbreaking, & just pisses you off. If he never plays another down he will be ok but it's a sad day.

I wonder if this is a negative result of the targeting rule. Players just dont want to take a chance of penalty and possible suspension.

Very classy and not seen in college football much these days. I hope Lattimore gets through this challenge with flying colors. Many people of all SEC allegiances want to see him do well in the NFL.

That and a DB has a better chance of bringing down a back like Lattimore by going for the legs.
