I know that if Pruitt wins it'll be tougher to nit pick the guy but...I hate how he doesn't use proper English. Dude is supposed to be a leader of a bunch of college kids and he is like..."they done good"..."we just wasn't ready"...dude really? He has to know that's not the right way to say it. Why almost go out of your way to sound dumb in an interview. And before you just totally dismiss this, name a big time success coach that talks like that. And go...

Property English is important in a post lamenting the lack thereof.

He's a lot more descriptive when he loses. Still, comparing him to Dools or CBJ after a loss tells me we'll get there. Talked about 50 errors against KY, but didn't get exposed, and Miz did. Let's get a W in Nashville and head on down to Birmingham and close out this chapter.

I understand, but Dooley could articulate you to death and quote Shakespeare and Patten, but couldn't connect the dots on the football field (except tonight)...so, I'll take southern accent...he's plenty smart enough and tough. Shame the UGA 6 recruits didn't see a better game.

Mike Leach , Ed Orgeron , Lou Holtz , Les Miles all had their moments . Who cares how well they hold a press conference . I care about what goes on between the white lines. I mean we had the walking cleche and the histroy professor as our last two coaches and look how bare the cubbord is now!

Second time I’ve said this in different posts, this is just plain stupid. If this was a win, then no one would care how his speaks. I’ll ask you this, when in the invention of football has it ever mattered how a coach speaks, in the win vs lose column?

Aren’t you after today?

He’s likely so sick of the lack of SEC players that he has to work with that he’s eagerly awaiting signing day so he can get rid of/put 25 players on the current roster in the rear view mirror and start working with the actual SEC level players he’s about to bring in. That’s my guess.

1. I’m ok (mostly) with him talking redneck. (Ivoronics?) If nothing else, it’s part of his shtick.

2. Coaches (and teachers/professors) must have an academic degree at least one level higher than whatever their players/students are supposed to earn. So he should have a master’s in something. After a quick look, I can’t find anything online about where he got it or what field. Anyone know?
