I was happy that our offensive minded head coach was going to let the DC do his job instead of meddling like Pruitt did with the offense. Hence the bolded part.

It's hard to say what will happen on D next year. We don't even have a DC yet. But I'll be happy if we can just cover a slant.

I see what you're saying about big plays. But if that's our only problem, it'll be an improvement. We couldn't cover a dead mouse, with king sized sheet last year. Next year will probably be bad too, regardless of who we hire, or our defensive philosophy. At this point I'm willing to give the new blood a shot. What else can we do?
