Don’t even have to look back at previous coaches. Heupel has wins versus Saban, Dabo, Kelly, DeBoer, etc. Also has one of the best home winning percentages in the ncaa. Heupel is a top ten coach. Anyone wanting to get rid of him is insane, a moron, or a rival fan.Klatt doesn’t know hat he’s talking about. Just look back the three previous coaches we have had. We are lucky to have
Coach Heupel.
his right here. Time will tell the ceiling we have with Huep but the fact that he raised our floor to the level he has is damn near incredible. We arent elite yet but we're close.Man the offseason really gets a lot of bites on stupid articles.
Heupel's seat is ice cold. We could go 7-5 this year and it will only raise by like 1 degree.
He has elevated our program's floor after Kiffin, Dooley, Botch, and Cornbreak put us in a massive hole. He was probably one of the only coaches who picked up the phone call from DW to come here.
I find it unlikely that it’s Phil Fulmer.OP is a close family member of Fulmer, if not Fulmer himself. The whole point of this post is that he is hoping someone will suggest Fulmer should step in.
LolA random Facebook post popped up so, I decided to google to see if there was fire to the smoke: College Football Playoff Coach With $37.5M Buyout Put On Hot Seat
I know his second year seemed the best so far but, how can it be said he’s on the hot seat after the last several coaches that we have had?
Did not know his buyout is that much: Josh Heupel has top 15 salary among college football head coaches
I’m thinking this is his yearly salary times the years on his contract. Anyone think either is too much or too long?
Hell, nowadays? EVERY LAST one of them are on the hot seat. Just how it is.A random Facebook post popped up so, I decided to google to see if there was fire to the smoke: College Football Playoff Coach With $37.5M Buyout Put On Hot Seat

Being high ranked does not make a guy ready to play in this or any system. He must be able to think not just paly. A great athlete comes in has trouble getting his position in the system down. Ends up playing say 50% of the season. Think he stays around when big bucks come calling from a system that he isn't required to think as much? I know this sounds like a weak example of what I was saying but we see it all the time with Hipe's system. Prime example is Brazzel (spelling a guess) I think other than the poor QB throwing, he just has had trouble getting the requirements of the position in this system down. (think I will really show up this coming season)And how are those two things mutually exclusive? Doesn't it stand to reason that the higher ranked the recruit is, the more ready they should be to produce now?
