I don't think there was scenario last year that had us in the Gator Bowl until the selection. If they were at the game, they are at least looking at us IMO.

Yes and hart got a lot of credit for pulling off jacksonville last year

I was at the 06 Citrus Bowl between AU-Wisky when they found a body in the lake outside the endzone. They were trying to fish it out as we came by on our way into the stadium.

I miss living in FL, my dad and my buddy's dad got tickets through work just about every year. We went regardless of who played.

I would still love to see the Vols in Texas. I know it's not happening this year, but how about we push Hart to play in the Cowboy Classic

How can LSU go to the Citrus? I thought the Citrus had to take the second place team in the SEC. Can a bowl take any team they want as long as there is a conference tie and the team is bowl eligible?

How do you determine the 'second place' team? We have two divisions.

Alabama will go to a NC playoff game. Sugar gets first pick of the remainder and they take Ole Miss. Last time gators went there, they brought 8000 fans. Citrus dont want Florida either since they only bring day trippers. Plus, Michigan vs The Hatter is a huge draw.

I wonder the same thing but I would assume since Florida would have a better conference record than LSU (even with the loss against Alabama) they would be considered the higher ranked team in the SEC. I would also think that Arkansas would be above LSU since they have the same conference record and beat LSU head-to-head.

That sounds like Newport (Cocke Co.) when I was in Hi-School (late 70's)..
