Cigar /Pipe Smoking thread

Yep. Original blend. Look forward to reading your review.

Through the first third I’ll agree with you on the construction and even burn. My impressions so far are mostly woody, cedary. I did get the big pepper blast you mentioned on first few draws and retrohale, otherwise mild and not tons of smoke.

Nearly through middle third, I appreciate the even burn. Smoke production has improved thru the middle to what I would expect from a Gordo(6x60). Still woody but detecting something cinnamony or almond.
Setting up for a nice finish.

That’s a wrap. I’m not a huge fan of lighter wrappers but this is an enjoyable smoke. To me, it’s mild to medium. I’m glad I ate something first and even so, I did get a slight nicotine buzz. Was a little harsh on the finish but good. Smoke time a little over an hour to hour and a quarter.

The first two robustos that I smoked did as I described, but the one I’m smoking this afternoon lacked the previous pepper and nicotine blast upon lighting. It’s drawing well and medium to medium full in flavor and body.
