I agree...but we weren't saying that it did matter what type of music we listen to. The subject just gradually drifted that way..but you're absolutely correct.

hahaha...it really does. I'll just go on record saying I hate church signs. No one but the people at that church get some of the junk they throw up there for every car to read. I mean, come on, people..is the best vitamin for a christian really B-1? Dumbest thing I've ever read.

I drive by a church on my way to work every day and they usually have some of the dumbest signage. They have a huge sandwich board style wooden sign in the front lawn that someone paints every month. For a few weeks now it has a picture of a bowl of ice cream with chocolate syrup and a bannana on top with the words "Our Sunday's are better". So corny. Most of the time though, they have blatant rip offs of popular food items like Gatorade, Oreos, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, etc. I wish I could remember what some of the lame slogans were on those other ones. Oh yeah, the Gatorade one said "Is He In You?" I'm pretty sure "God" was inserted on the logo instead of Gatorade.

Yes..I've been in ministry for almost 8 years now, and I hate church signs for the most part! I'm so glad my church doesn't do that...some of the ones around here really get me like '' CH__ __ CH.

Funny you guys mentioned all of these artists. Just went to a concert here in Bham Thursday night.
Jars of Clay, Robert Randolph and the Family band, Switchfoot, and Third Day. Going back to the Eighties and going to NUMEROUS Stryper concerts, and D C Talk and Audio A in the Nineties, this could possibly be my favorite show.
