I won't lie. Gruden would really get me pumped. However, he is a huge risk. Does he have the fire to out work and out recruit the elite coaches in college? I don't know. Does his style translate? Will coaching college guys be a difficult change compared to pros? All I'm getting at is he is a risk.

Petersen is a proven college coach. He gets it done. I'd be happy with either, but if I got to make the choice, it's Petersen every time.

Understand your reservations but it’s Gruden for me then Petersen. Listen, I’m not saying Petersen sucks because I do hope it’s him if Gruden decides that college/UT isn’t for him. But with staff/resources for Gruden, that’s what puts him above Petersen for me.

I expect ridicule but won’t change my belief.

Apparently Hyams has made a point of quashing all Petersen talk this morning on the radio. Is it me or does it seem like he has been taking joy in knocking down hopes for any candidate the the fans would actually celebrate?

Curious question on Perersen and the Pac-12 championship. If Washington beats Washington State tonight, are they in the conference championship? Reason I'm asking, if it is Petersen and they do win tonight and all these rumors about an announcement tomorrow are true, would that be put off till after the championship game? This may have already been asked, so my apologies if it's already been covered. Thanks!
