Chris Low Says It Will Be “Difficult” For Pruitt To Stay As HC

Now the bigger problem is will this Administration go after Freeze? Will they get serious about getting a winner in here? Will they play scared and get a Pruitt 2.0? I have no confidence in these fools to make it right.

Zero chance of that if they fire Pruitt over minor recruiting violations.

No, if we fire Pruitt, we likely hire someone like Jamey Chadwell, who did well this year at Coastal Carolina, but who's still a huge gamble, up-and-comer type.

Coaches like that have something called confidence, cockiness, cajones. They could objectively look at the situation here and you know THEY know this guy can't coach. Any of them would have the confidence they could get the job done here. You have to find someone a little cocky and not afraid to tackle a situation. Do you think Matt Campbell looked at Iowa State before heading there and thought, "WOW, this is a cupcake job. It's a great place to be for a football coach"?

You can also argue that Tennessee sells itself to some degree. Despite the complete lack of coaching ability displayed over the past 10 years now we still can consistently land top 15 recruiting classes with relative ease. Imagine what a good coach could land here?
Valid points, however for the sake of argument, there are rumors of coaching vacancies here, Southern Cal, and now Florida with Mullen potentially going pro. If you were Campbell, which would you choose?

The most embarrassing part of all this ,which really hasn't came out yet is we were supposedly cheating and still lost .dam I wish we could've got a good feeling at least from something. No bang for some body's buck lol cant make this up

Would Napier touch this situation? Would Hermann or Malzahn be looking for a chance at redemption? Seems like our best options at the moment. I can't see an established P5 coach (ie Campbell or Allen) touching this if things are bad.

I don't see Freeze or Chadwell as options if we are in NCAA doo doo.

You know that Chadwell probably had more severe violations than Freeze? They were just done at a lower level.

Chadwell is a coach with a checkered past looking for his first big break.
I have to disagree about Chadwell having a checkered past. NCAA sanctions against Char. So but nothing was tied to Chadwell in any serious or concerning way in my mind. He had a crap Compliance administrator who misdirected the athletes and of course they cited failure to monitor the program in their wording. So I have no concerns about hiring Chadwell and I for one wouldn't object to going with him.

If Pruitt is to be fired, I’d like it to be mid season. It would be interesting to see if he would honor his commitment to his Tennessee players like he did his Alabama players
