Chris Donald apparently just needed a new position.

What the hell is wrong with you guys. Someone says they are happy for someone being successful at a FCS school, and you put a target on his back.

I am glad that Donald has found success. It is absolutely horrible that you give him no respect because he wasn't as good as you guys thought. Hobock is right it isn't his fault that he was overrated.

He chose UT over every other school. He showed loyalty to this program until he realized he wasn't going to see the field this year. He chose UTC for god sake. Don't hate on the kid.

Jose, and the rest of you trying to destroy Hobock because he is happy for someone's success. You guys are pathetic.

How is it that when Hobock tries to flame BJ Coleman for transferring, he's somehow happy for his success? And when I attempt to thwart the flaming, and point out how Coleman should be respected for his decision, I'm the one being the anti-UT player?

Reading comprehension is a big factor when reading message boards.

Look mofo, would you rather be guaranteed to be the starting QB at UTC, or have a SHOT at starting at UT?

I apologize if my Jerry Fallwell rant offended you.

I was referencing the Scriptural "support" to your argument. I, personally, would rather be playing at UT, but just because Coleman didn't want to doesn't mean it wasn't best for him or that he shouldn't have went. The only reason you find it problematic is because you're a die-hard fan of Tennessee.

Not to mention the same verse could be applied to your disdain towards Raleigh and the baseball team.

Don't be a hypocrite.

If you ever read the Baseball Forum, you would know that I'm the ONLY supporter Raleigh has.

Try evaluating my content instead of trying to be cute. My avatar has nothing to do with this subject.

Then what's the "FAIL" about?

Of course your avatar has nothing to do with the subject, it's the correlation of the illustration that has to do with the subject.

I'll give you a non-scriptural reference...All good things come to those that wait.....

I guarantee you that Boleman looks at our current situation and regrets his decision. Young men make rash decisions.

I played against Chris for 4 years in the same region in football during highschool and he was a beast. This was of course in single A West TN football, which isn't that great of a talent level. When he went to UT he wasn't intersted in putting in the work that it takes because he never had to before, athletic ability alone didn't allow him success and that's why he didn't do very well.

He is a great guy, but at that level everyone is an amazing talent and it's the work you put in that separates you from the rest. He will shine at UTC because he is again competing against those of a lesser talent. Good luck to him, not trying to bad mouth him, but it is the honest truth.

Probably, but he had no reason to believe anything would change. To condemn him for not liking the 3rd-string QB status he received isn't justifiable considering nobody gave the slightest clue to Kiffin leaving after one year and the departure to Nick Stephens. Don't be unfair to his future and personal preferences.

I would happily explain my avatar to someone who's not reaching WAY out to be critical.

I flame alot if people on here. The difference between you and me is, my criticisms are substatiantiated. My brief encounter with you has shown the opposite for you.

My avatar isn't my mantra. Neither are 99% of avatars on here.

The ONLY thing Kiffin did right while he was here was sticking with Crompton. While leaving the UCLA game, I, and everyone on here questioned it. If Kiffin and Co. thought Boleman's talent level was behind Crompton and the Ginger, I believe it. Boleman was publically critical and came across as a girl.

See, this is where your whole argument just implodes. You don't care that Chris Donald wasn't going to see the field and transferred, but since Coleman was placed in the same exact scenario, you think he has no balls? If anything, he had more balls for publicly calling out Kiffin on what seemed to be a vendetta between the two of them -- in his eyes anyway.

If you think Coleman didn't possess the talent level of Stephens, what makes you think he'd supersede Simms or Bray given the looks of the depth chart immediately preceding the departure of Stephens?

It's quite simply contradictory.

You don't win the Big Balls Award when you cry in a newspaper. That same article is what you're basing your argument on. Boleman's tear-fest is ONE side of the story.

We'll never know if Boleman was good enough to start at UT, will we? Is that Kiffin's fault? Boleman seems to think sand so do you.

The truth is no 4* high school QB dreams if carrying a clipboard. On a personal level, I don't blame him for leaving. I question the way he went about it.

Yea? Point out where I said it was Kiffin's fault.

And yes, your entire argument up until now has been: I blame him for leaving; he should have stayed.

You're blindly believing what a little girl said in a newspaper article. Since that's the case, you believe Boleman isn't at UT because of Kiffin.

If he stayed or left, he should have kept his mouth shut.

You think he should be rewarded for blaming the coaching staff for his shortcomings...you get the same award as he does...The No Balls Award. Congratulations, mofo!!!

Again, where did I say Coleman got treated unfairly by Kiffin? And where did I say he should have complained to the newspaper? You know that term you used earlier -- "reaching"? Yea, well, you're reaching. That or you simply can't comprehend sentences. Likely a combination of both.

I'd think someone who would throw out Scripture would be a little more respectful and less hypocritical concerning their etiquette towards others, but hey, what was I thinking.

Sorry but it say's something about your ability when you have the Stones to persevere at a major school like UT. BJ did not have the stones you need to be an elite QB. BJ is right where he should be. He is a quitter. :bad:

I'll go ahead and clear this up.

I never said Coleman should have gone to the newspaper and whined. All I said was that I don't blame him for leaving, and more than anything, played Devil's Advocate to your absurd reasonings -- most notably your Scripture reference and the self-contradictory argument you presented.

No, Lane Kiffin was the quitter and the liar. Coleman would have been relegated to garbage duty while Kiffin was there. Passed over for whoever he was recruiting. Poole pretty much made Coleman's case. BJ had the stones, unlike the rest of the world, to tell Kiffin to go suck it. I'm not gonna ride the bench because you have an agenda.
