If Crompton performed, he was genius for getting him up to SEC speed. Poole was not going to have any significant playing time, he's pretty much quoted on that, Brown would get reps because Brown was the number one recruit in the country and Kiffin wanted more of em. BJ obviously was ahead of crompton during spring game and was thrown under the bus for Kiffins plan for the future. Kiff wanted the next USC style West Coast QB to recruit and BJ was not going to screw that up having three more years of eligibility left. Scrambling style, running qb's need not apply. Heath Schuler would have been tossed aside.
