As fans, we are suppose to hope that the team we support is playoff caliber. An intelligent person takes into account losing an all SEC team captain to injury. Losing the starting MLB to injury for a majority of the season. Losing an all SEC caliber corner to injury. Losing 3 starting defensive tackles. If "most" teams outside of Bama had all those losses they would have a down year as well. I will fault CBJ with getting rid of Lawson. That was a bad move.

Difference in the season (and team) with him at the helm vs Majors, was my perception. Dominating Florida vs losing to SC...doesn't that get you fired? :wink2:

Would be extremely unfair to start a thread comparing our NC winning HOF coach with Butch who managed to lose to SCjr and Vandy in year 4 with team loaded with talent.

Didn't we just win our bowl game? Jones isn't going anywhere and we damn sure don't need Chip Kelly. How did getting rid of Fulmer work out? It didn't. You people need to stop your whining about how we need another coach. There will never be a coach good enough for you people.

You're saying Jones is as good as Fulmer? Wow! A good enough coach is someone who has appeared in the NC like Chip Kelly. If we want a sure upgrade, he would be it.

Fulmer managed to lose to Memphis State in year 4 with one of the most talented teams in UT history. 2 years later he went 13- 0.

Objectivity depends on win/stats. Subjectivity is all opinion so in the mind of the person he is completely right and really can't be proven wrong. In that case CBJ is as good.

First year I can ever remember not watching a single NFL game - because of this self absorbed idiot. So 0 impact is not a correct statement and I am proof.

Current SEC commissioner involved in Kelly's investigation. Tennessee also got a mention in the same investigation due to association with the bad guy. Even were Butch to leave on his own hiring Kelly seems problematic to say the least, given our previous NCAA troubles.

If you stopped watching because someone chose to exercise their right, you're a hypocrite. Although it is your right to be a hypocrite. I stopped watching the NFL years ago, because I lost interest.
