That would seem illegal - not sure if treasonous is the correct term. There's a clear cut chain of command, and if Milley broke that chain, he should pay the consequences. There's a process to determine if a president is unfit. It's not up to one person, and it's certainly not up to a general to decide. That act would mean Milley usurped civilian control of the military - that's a direct violation of the Constitution. This (if it happened) is a punishable offense, not one that people should be praising or smoothing over. If it didn't happen, either Milley or Woodward should be prosecuted for lying - there's no room for suggestion or stating that this could happen. I've always considered Woodward to likely be just another opportunistic hack as it is.

There were/are several flag grade officers form Trumps term that deserve to be prosecuted. The generals that lied about the troop levels in Syria and Afghanistan when Trump ordered a draw-down, Miley (if he did in fact do what he claims he did) all should face a courts martial.

You get the feeling with how screwed up some things have become with the military that some flag officers need to face courts martial and loose retirements and benefits. It won't kill them, they can still write books, and people will still hire them, but we shouldn't have to fund their retirements. There are and always have been a lot of competent and dedicated men and women serving in the military; they deserve better leadership.

When it comes to raw numbers, if the B-21 can carry let's say 35,000 pounds of weapons, and is equipped with new smart racks that can accommodate many smaller weapons, like the GBU-53/B StormBreaker, in mass alone that would equate to up to 140 bombs. Each of these weapons is capable of flying 50 miles to their individual targets (likely farther if the B-21's ceiling is markedly higher). Of course, internal volume and weapons rack configuration limitations could dictate a bit smaller payload of weapons like the GBU-53/B, but the destructive capabilities a single B-21, let alone a fleet of over a hundred of them, could bring to the table on one mission, without putting refueling or support assets in danger, is fascinating to imagine.

God article.

Imagine 60 B-21's in one pass taking out 840 targets before anyone knows what happened.

You could build your tactical and nuke strategic capability around that. Of course mini nukes would be bigger and weigh more and less carriage than small Stormbreaker.

Two of America's largest liberal nonprofits, the Bill and Melinda Gates and Ford Foundations, funneled $39 million to China in 2021—money that in some cases went to Chinese government agencies and universities that conduct military research.

The Gates Foundation, according to its latest IRS disclosure, sent nearly $30 million to Chinese organizations in 2021, including $2.5 million to the communist nation's National Health Commission and $1.4 million to its Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The Ford Foundation, meanwhile, sent $9.3 million to China in 2021—recipients included three public universities that are overseen by the Chinese government's defense industry agency.

These are payoffs in order to do business in China.

Count South Africa as part of the Axis.
REM production just like Afghanistan.

Any whites still there?

Amazing watching woke liberalism and social justice come to a collision with geopolitics.

If you haven't figured it out..America's FP savants are like Joe Biden. Wrong everytime.

US four-star general predicts war with China in two years as he issues chilling memo to Air Force wing commanders to 'fire a clip' at a target and 'aim for the head' to prepare

A top American air force general has predicted that the US and China will likely go to war by 2025 amid heightening tensions over the Taiwan Strait.

The ominous warning was delivered Friday in a memo from General Mike Minihan, who oversees the service's fleet of transport and refueling aircraft.

Sent to officers responsible for roughly 107,000 service members under Minihan's command, the communication instructs soldiers to prepare for the conflict by firing 'a clip' at targets - and to 'aim for the head.'

The message is the most dramatic yet from a military officer of the looming likelihood of a war over Taiwan, a crucial 'choke point' in the South China Sea that is of strategic interest to both Beijing and Washington.

Japan, S Korea, et al…need to ramp up their military spending and take the initiative in their own backyard. Don’t be like the usual European lip service.

Watching Sunday morning shows, Bill Gates praised the rise of Beijing, says it’s good for the world. Yet, he worries about cow farts and ending the consumption of meat as we know it. I take it Melinda must have repeatedly hit him in the head with a frying pan while they were married because there seems to be ZERO awareness on his part that China is the world’s largest contributor to all things “climate change”.

Like any celebrity ...stick with what you are good at. Being successful at one thing doesn't make you an authority on any thing else by default.

The Japanese are, and probably the rest are doing the same. Australia has been building a B-52 base; I can't imagine us giving anybody our useable B-52s or somebody else starting a B-52 production line, so we'll be manning the base you'd suppose. I'd bet everybody in the area is ramping up. Japan is working with the Brits and maybe a couple of others to build a new sixth gen fighter as I recall. There really needs to be an NATO type alliance for the region to get it all coordinated, but there is still a lot of coordinated training going on between Asian countries and even Europeans are joining in.
