I'm still uncertain if there is a genuine threat of NG being used in the manner in which they are in DC in other cities. The optics are coming across as "We'd rather have the crime!" even if the legality of such deployments is dubious at best which is still a win for Trump in the eyes of many.I support him on this.

We get it. You like that your view on this is swimming against the current.I would support any governor taking the administration to court over violating the posse comitatus act.

You think it’s cool. And that’s fine. But just state it and be done.
If you words were that profound they wouldn’t need repeating
Why should cops bother then ? That's why they don't care anymore
I think it works because of the messaging from the dems. Not wanting the military in your city shouldn't be a terrible look for anyone, it only works because people are being bombarded with insane propaganda constantly
Agree to disagree that kissing his ass for his blatantly pretextual political stunt would be the right messageI think it works because of the messaging from the dems.
it hasn't once been: ok there is a problem, let us try and figure it out before you bring in the gestapo.
or being willing to work with them, and use them as supplements somehow.
the messaging has come across more as: we don't care how bad it is, or how bad it gets, this is ours.
for the record, I think they are right, but its a terrible message.
