I cant recall the name, but hormel put out a loaf of processed meat in a can. We had no gas for the stove, so we would set it on the sidewalk on aluminum foil to cook outside.

It avg'd 100 degrees that summer in La.
Was it corned beef? Hormel corned beef in a can ain't bad.

Red Birds were a staple of a young Hobock's diet. Scrumptious!

Scrapple... it's what's left after they make the hot dogs (the name is somewhat self-descriptive).

The zone's equivalent to how you like your steak. When you are or have been broke. What was the cheap meat you bought.

Chicken thighs for me. I know it isn't spam or potted meat but I'd rather be a vegan than eat that.

I once bought some knight brand chicken nuggets that were brown inside. Definately no white meat on them.

When I first moved to Florida we had processed block ham for and entire year for every meal. RV got real creative with it. a 5lb block cost 5 bucks and would last us all week. I didn't start eating ham again until 12 years later.

Frozen bean borritos, 5 for a $1 at Food City. Not meat, but that was my staple for a while at one time.
