Charlie Strong-RECRUITING

Dude you must be blind or fos because Louisville is a dump. You are just saying that cause you are going to school there. And another thing you are a lawyer talking about "trusting what someone has to say " freaking laughable. Get over yourself and good luck raping the nice folks of Louisville make sure to get your retainer.

Not only can Charlie recruit well, but he's an excellent talent evaluator. Very under mentioned part of his success.

Class. Pure unadulterated class. VOLINBGKY, I live near campus currently, rougher side of town. My girlfriend lives on the east end. It's really nice out that way and will be where I move once I'm out of school

EDIT: I just noticed you live in Louisville as well. Also, my father is from Bowling Green (which I assume is what your name alludes to).

Jackass post. My brother lived in Louisville for years, off 265/Bush Farm Rd area. Louisville is more of a mid-western town than it is a southern town, despite a lot of people thinking of KY as being more southern.

Louisville has lots of amazing restaurants (Seviche comes to mind), some very cool neighborhoods and parks, the climate is awesome, and downtown isn't bad either. You succeeded, not only in insulting the poster for no reason, but making yourself look stupid as well. Congratulations.

You're right about it being more of a midwestern city...the people in parts of Louisville are...weird (primarily the Highlands area)...but they like it that way haha. Overall, it's not a bad place to live, and the university has done a tremendous job building its athletic facilities to be largely on par with the top programs in the country...plus as you mentioned, there are some amazing restaurants here. My personal favorite is Pat's Steakhouse. It's a little pricey, but if you're ever in town and up for one of the best steaks you'll ever have...give it a try.

As a current Louisville resident, I take offense to that. The city is actually quite thriving and very nice outside of the western portion. The facilities are actually top notch, and their AD is far superior to anyone we've had sniff that position in recent years. That being said, UL is in a dying conference, and it makes sense for Strong to jump to a program with tradition and eventual upside. I'm impressed with what he's done at Louisville, and I think he can do even better at UT given time and the program name recognition we have here.

Besides, you live in Southern Indiana. When I first moved to Louisville, the first thing everyone ever told me was not to believe or respect anyone from Southern IN. lol

Haha yeah I did kinda stretch the truth. Louisville is a nice place minus the west end. Downtown is pretty nice but honestly the outskirts of Louisville are nicer then downtown(4th street and around the arena are very good times) IMO. Tom Jurich is a great AD, but I've never been really blown away buy Papa Johns stadium. It is a nice place(10X better then old cardinal stadium I played 3 highschool football games there and it was just like playing on concrete) but IDK, I've just never been impressed. They do have fair weather fans and you know thats true.

I've always been told that southern Indiana was the SUNNY SIDE OF LOUISVILLE. :)

You are correct. I went to WKU. I live in Fairdale right now. Looking to head to the east end in mid january as well.

I'm originally from Portland, TN...just across the border from BG. I assume you probably bought your beer there on Sundays haha.

CSprig, the sunny side of Louisville huh? Haha. I like the sound of that.

He has beaten out teams like USC, Auburn, Clemson, and Miami for recruits at Louisville. He has strong ties to Florida, and has been successful in North Carolina and Virginia as well. Strong is by far the most likely candidate to bring in top 10 classes.
