Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

We're literally in here arguing about government agents ****ing up protesters who are uncomfortable with the idea of masked men disappearing people with no due process.

How about instead of spending a **** ton of money using Draconian/fascist measures to enforce immigration laws that everybody knows are completely wack, how about we fix the laws? How about we demand the Trump admin, congress, and SCOTUS, while they have all of it under control, fix the problem instead of making temporary XO's and a big show of force that will last to the end of this admin, and then there was no real change, except for the massive growth of government.

With the increased spending on ICE, we're going to be left with insane bloat and debt that will never go away. I know I've said this before, but ICE's budget would be the 17th largest military budget in the whole world. Look at it this way. The agency where masked men are violating the bill of rights has a budget larger than Turkey's military, and it's operating within the United States. Seems like this should be alarming to a lot of people on the right. They'll start talking about it when Democrats are in charge again, I'm sure.

Can we demand a little more out of Republicans instead of defending things that don't have to be this way?

I mean this in a good way, what are some of the reforms you would propose? I am genuinely interested in hearing about it.

I found this, which may be useful:
I saw no answer to if it was the exception or rule in that piece.

The one thing I will say that is different between church bells is that they typically ring outside of ordinance hours where as the call to prayer 5 times daily at least two of those if I'm not mistaken take place within typical ordinance hours.

It's complicated and I don't know the answer, the only thing I know is that law enforcement feral or local shouldn't be masked.
They have to be because people target their families… I know somebody who would know and he told me this, they also have to delete social media etc, it’s very dangerous work

I have criticized him several times here and honestly don't like him much. That said, good job by Smith standing on the side of common decency and not kneeling to the Woke mob.

To my knowledge though he said something that was untrue: stating that Kirk said the Civil Rights laws never should have been enacted. The footage I have seen from him in context was actually the opposite of that. Kirk said that he agreed with the original intent of the CR laws but not what they have been distorted and become. Not how they have been used to make "protected classes" of people or actually discriminate against some groups of people to the exclusion of others. Pretty sure we beat that dead horse thru 3 or 4 different Lefties posting that exact same lie in this thread. That horse is glue and dogfood by now.

Patriot front is a alt right white nationalist movement.

Their reaction isn't to media, they are following action. When you call everyone fascists and nazis guys like these her jealous. When the rhetoric of their enemies calls for violence they respond in kind.

I think this is what the left and the right both want.

So you can’t say with 100%. Once again what if your child was a ICE Agent. Would you be scared that your child and grandchildren could be targeted
Not so much. If they wanted to be ICE agents they'd know the risks and rewards. There's nothing that sets ICE so much apart from other LE agencies that they need anonymity.

There's this:
"As the Muslim community grew, especially from the 1960s to the 1980s, it was becoming more and more important to the religion's followers to have an open call for prayer. So in the early 1980s, the mosque applied for, and was granted a court approval to broadcast the call to prayer using loudspeakers.
The initial ruling was not popular with some neighbors who were non-Muslim and still lived in Dearborn. However, the court ruled that the broadcasting of prayers from the mosque, was no different than the ringing of church bells at a Christian church. So the order stood, and continues to stand to this day."

I understand, but it still doesn't address whether it was a specific carve out or suspension of the ordinance.

This is ridiculous.

It says that the memorial must be in “a prominent area” on the main campus of every public college and university in the state.

The bill says the memorial must include “a statue of Charlie Kirk sitting at a table with an empty seat across from him” or one of Kirk and his wife holding their children.

Designs for the statue must be approved by the legislature, the bill says.

The bill says that if schools do not comply with building a memorial, they will face monthly fines.

The bill also mandates that the schools take measures to protect their memorials from vandalism and automatically expel any students caught defacing them, the Guardian reports.

I bet you would approve this one…
