We're literally in here arguing about government agents ****ing up protesters who are uncomfortable with the idea of masked men disappearing people with no due process.
How about instead of spending a **** ton of money using Draconian/fascist measures to enforce immigration laws that everybody knows are completely wack, how about we fix the laws? How about we demand the Trump admin, congress, and SCOTUS, while they have all of it under control, fix the problem instead of making temporary XO's and a big show of force that will last to the end of this admin, and then there was no real change, except for the massive growth of government.
With the increased spending on ICE, we're going to be left with insane bloat and debt that will never go away. I know I've said this before, but ICE's budget would be the 17th largest military budget in the whole world. Look at it this way. The agency where masked men are violating the bill of rights has a budget larger than Turkey's military, and it's operating within the United States. Seems like this should be alarming to a lot of people on the right. They'll start talking about it when Democrats are in charge again, I'm sure.
Can we demand a little more out of Republicans instead of defending things that don't have to be this way?
I mean this in a good way, what are some of the reforms you would propose? I am genuinely interested in hearing about it.
