Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

Carolina Panthers Fire Employee for Disgustingly Mocking Charlie Kirk Assassination in insensitive posts

The Carolina Panthers have reportedly fired a junior employee over insensitive posts he made regarding the murder of Charlie Kirk.

According to the Charlotte Observer's Scott Fowler, Charlie Rock - who worked as the Panthers' Football Communications Coordinator - has been dismissed by the team over the alleged posts on Instagram.

Images circulating on social media appear to show that Rock shared a video of Kirk saying 'it's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year' in order to protect Second Amendment rights, before adding his own comment.

He allegedly wrote alongside it: 'Why are yall sad? Your man said it was worth it...'

Another screenshot also shows Rock's Instagram account allegedly posting the song 'Protect Ya Neck' by the Wu-Tang Clan after Kirk was fatally shot in the neck on Wednesday.

One of those guys like huff that he was talking about.

I think they said the expended round was still in the chamber. I could be wrong on that.

Regardless, if he did get scope bite there's a really good chance he didn't follow up even checking the target. I've never had it but seen plenty of people that have and the last thing you want to do is stare down that scope again. Basically, it's like getting punched in the eye socket. You will be crying.

And probably bleeding.

Seriously though

It's a cheap piece with a composite stock. It's a hunting rifle. It's bolt action and there wasn't a reload attempt (if it is pictured as it was found).

Is the scope set properly for the range at which is was fired?
As a hunter, atleast in my younger days. Yes, at 200 yards, that rifle is capable. AS long as the scope was sighted in proper, 200 yards for that rifle was not much to ask. An off the shelf, composite stock 30-06 with a good scope and sighted proper is good to 300 yards easy aiming about 6" high at 300. Having said that, if he was roof top that changes hte ballistics in a downward shot. So, this guy was really, good, really lucky, or that ain't the real gun. But, the most capable of guns is highly inaccurate in the wrong hands too. At 200, I can scope a deer at the top of the shoulder and get a proper heart shot at impact with a 30-30. 250 with the newer design 30-30 bullets available.

But a professional marksman intended on leaving his tools behind doesn't need a tricked out rifle to make that shot.
Oh I don’t agree at all. In this day and age bipods, adjustable cheek pads, etc … are all very common and very inexpensive. I’d submit a pro marksman would do what he could to insure an accurate first shot since there is no guarantee of a quality follow up.

No argument from me on that, I don't think this shooter was a professional or had extensive training.

As I told hog just now I don’t disagree. But I think most of our deer rifles are probably not tricked out the same as a professional marksman. The accuracy capability of the weapon is there. The aids just help us feeble old shooters.
Depending on brand, off the shelf deer rifles can be extremely accurate. Savage makes the most accurate off the shelf rifles available. In the outdoor world this 200 yard shot is not that far for a stock rifle.

The vast majority of people will never shoot anywhere near what a rifle is capable of, even the 1-2 MOA hunting rifles.

I'm getting a lot more confident in my belief that this was (very sadly) a lucky shot.

GOP doing a great job with keeping the rhetoric in check.

Sorry you don’t get to do that now. The left has been out of control for years. You never called them out for their rhetoric. You wished death on the president last week and you are saying Conservatives should sit back and take it now.

Peeps are gonna freak if it's a red herring and this guy turns out to have done it trying to stoke animosity between the two camps.

It's not a huge stretch.
That possibility crossed my mind yesterday, and again today when they released the photo. Guy doesn't look trans, but I supposed he could be AlNTIFA. They've got his photos of the guy, just a matter of time until we find out

Vance Boelter was a Democrat appointee by Tim Walz.

They are clueless. The party of mass delusions. One of the other rocketsurgeon lefties in here was blaming the guy who shot Trump on the right as well. As usual they have absolutely no idea what truth or reality actually are.

Whats really cute is when ignorant Lefties in here copy/paste what their A.I. query told them to think. As if anyone here couldnt simply do it themselves and see the (often completely wrong) answers given by the language model.

" I can copy/paste what my phone said to think." Must be really bright indeed.
