I saw a still image today that claimed there was a ricochet off of Charlie Kirk’s bullet proof vest and then it entered his neck. I do not know the first thing about bullet proof vests, but I wouldn’t think they would be designed to cause ricochets.

Of course with today’s internet, the picture was likely all made up.

I would if it weren't for actual adoption of policies by orgs, academic institutions, and perpetuation by media that those fringe ideas are legit.

Maybe the adoption was out of fear of offending the fringe or maybe it was concurrence with the ideas but for some reason these fringe ideas gained real power over the last 5+ years. It does appear that the majority is finally pushing back.

This was a very tragic act of violence.

Whether you agreed with Charlie Kirk or not no one should be murdered for expressing their first amendment right of free speech.

Charlie Kirk whether you want to admit it or
was a pioneer. He was a conservative and Christian who who walked into hostile environments where conservatives and Christians were not welcomed and changed the landscape of politics on college campuses. I watched some of his older videos where he had no support and very little turnout to having thousands show up to his events and mostly pro audiences. He made a connection with the young conservative movement.

Charlie Kirk lived the American dream. A community college dropout who built a million dollar business with a beautiful family.

I didn’t always agree with what he said but the first amendment gave us both the right to express our opinions and beliefs and this is What makes The United States of America the greatest country in the world.

I had a lot of respect for Charlie Kirk not for his politics but for his unwavering Faith in Jesus and the way that he loved his family and country.

RIP Charlie Kirk.

I don't know the man. I don't follow his events or his socials. But based on what his supporters and his opponents have shared here, I do not believe this is accurate. I think it is opinion based in fact. I suspect he actually advocated for protecting innocent Israelis. The mechanism or protection may be similar or the same as the mechanism of violence, but the perspective of the man should be considered.

Examples to illustrate:
a vote for trump does not mean advocating for his presidency. For some, it was a vote against Harris.
a firearm can be seen as a of protection and a tool of defense depending on the intention of the person involved.

In Huff's defense, protecting Israelis is equal to killing innocent Palestinians.
