I keep hearing people compare head coaches like the head coaches actually do something.
Other than Lane Kiffin, most head coaches pick a staff and manage the team. The success on the field is actually due to the OC, DC, and position coaches.
With that said, do you think Chaney is on a review period? Kind of like when you get a job you have a 90 day probation period so the employer can tell if they want to keep you?
If so, since Chaney is a hold over from the Lane Kiffin era and isn't showing anything explosive on offense, do you think Dooley will start looking at other options for next year? Because by year 3, if Dooley's squad (coaches) isn't producing, he may be on the hot seat himself.
