I've heard that his input with the new OL hire was a sign he might stick around, but I'm pretty sure he has been looking around.
I will drive my pickup and pull a tandem wheel trailer all the way across the state(west to east) to help get his azz out of town !
Everyone that didn't get an extension is looking. If Chaney gets a decent offer as a position coach, he is gone. Job security just isn't here right now.
That said I would think they would get an OC in place before hiring any offensive assistants.
That ten win Cinny team had trouble with Vandy. The sprint-draw isn't going to cut it against SEC speed.I think Chaney will be fine this fall...I really do! When he had all his pieces togther, he called a good game against a ten-win Cincinnati team. Yes, he didn't adjust very well to problems but I think he is still our best option going forward.
