I' going to be optimistic and predict we average 140 yards rushing a game in 2012. Its a stretch and perhaps a pipe dream after two seasons where we averaged about 90 yards a game. Its imperative we can rest our defense with some sustained drives that happen when you can pick up first downs running the ball. I have no sound logic other than the new offensive line coach and rb coach will change the results in the running game. First, as some have posted a change in scheme from sprint draw blocking to zone will happen and more consistent running lanes will open. Second, the combination of Lane, Borque and hopefully Neal will be able to pound the ball. I can see Borque a bigger tailback wearing out defenses much like LSU did last season with Hilliard and the other large backs they used.
