I'm not sure that game will be a fair indicator. I think there are only about 7-8 teams in the country that would have any realistic chance of winning in Columbus.
There is , however, one huge difference:i don't disagree that it's going to be a tough place to play. i also don't expect them to win, but i expect them to play tough and keep it close.
i find there are similarities between Matta and OSU and Pearl and UT:
1. neither were expected to do much last year and both overachieved
2. both are second year coaches
3. both had #2 seeds in the tourney
4. both had very strong recruiting classes
5. both seem like very very passionate coaches
do you think we'll reach a point here where we can draw the guys that.
the Durants, Odens, OJ Mayos...
the guys that are there for a year, because they have to be.

I'd much rather beat Vandy and Auburn.
Yeah, bringing in Carmelo Anthony just killed Syracuse. Marvin Williams really hurt UNC as well.I don't know, but I'm not sure we want those guys. It's a huge advantage to get a class that will play 3-4 years together, and having a guy who plays just 1 year takes scholarships away from others who'd stay a lot longer.
