no mention of the running game or TE against their inexperienced LB's. I'm not surprised but come on, you do this for a living

Exactly. The key to the game. They have to hype it up as Bray vs. Amerson though.

I just don't understand the rest of the country overlooking Hunter so much. I understand he is coming off a ACL tear but come on, if he is 100% back then I just can't see anyone being able to shut him down completely. Especially a team from the ACC. Amerson may be good but not good enough to shut down a healthy Hunter for 4 quarters, hell he'll be lucky if he can shut him down for a series.

if amerson is gonna shut hunter down i hope his vertical is way higher than hunters:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

I've been expecting a beat down but I'm a little concerned now after reading this article...

Offensive line coach Sam Pittman looks for atonement against N.C. State » GoVolsXtra

Working in the same role at North Carolina 2007-11, Pittman led his linemen against the Wolfpack each of the five years. The Tar Heels lost all five affairs, posting a rushing average of 44.6 yards per game. They broke the 100-yard mark once and rushed for a combined minus-4 yards in the 2010 and 2011 meetings.

Between struggling to run the ball last year and him averaging 44.6 yards in 5 games against NC State, it's slightly worrisome. Hopefully that will change this year. Did his offenses have more success running the ball against other teams? 44.6 yards... that's bad.

Including a grand total of 3 last season....
We will be fine though.

I'm sure NCS will be a formidable secondary. Tall, fast and experienced. But in every interview I've seen of Justin and CP, they give the PC answer of "we expect them to be good in defending us", but their eyes flat LIGHT UP every time they talk about the room NCS gives off the line. They think their seeing something and I hope their right.
