I did not get the idea Verne and Gary were cheering for anyone.
You all carry this "everyone hates us" stuff to the point where it's laughable.

Maybe I watched a different game but anytime Georgia made a play they both got very excited. Didn't hear the same level of excitement when we made a play. It was as bad as the Alabama Mizzuo SECC game. They always have some sorta bias in the game and it's usually fairly obvious.
To be fair, it's not exclusive to Tennessee. A segment of every team's fan base thinks this way.
If Corso picks the other team, he hates your team. If Corso picks your team, people get pissed because he just jinxed your team.
Gameday is going to be at this game instead of our game, because they are biased against us.
Etc.
Unless you just can't stand Tennessee, it was hard not to be happy for the Vols yesterday
Honestly, there are many fans that would rather get ESPN love for playing hard, etc than actually winning the game. It's a generational, social media phenomenon, where getting "likes" and "re-tweets" and approval from others is the pinnacle of existence. Pathetic really.
