Dooley walked into an awful situation, and didn't do much to turn it around..

He made it much worse. He destroyed our overall base of talent and installed a losing culture. Yes, he inherited a difficult situation, but he only made it worse after 3 years of utter incompetence.

Jones is obviously much better at his job than Dooley was. That being said I believe dooley worked hard for UT while he was here.

Dooley was entertaining, but I never saw him breaking a sweat while he was on the job.
