It looked to me like he struggled to find open looks all night long.
as long as we get nothing on the interior from TSmith, Chism, Childress, Williams, as we did not last night, everyone on earth will be able to cover our shooters.

I dont even see Rupp as being magical anymore. If that college were so great Tubby's son would have never stepped on the floor. God knows he didnt deserve to.

I hope you realize you sound like 90% of the KY fans I know in that post.

Lofton traditionally plays very well in Rupp. Six of those came on three pointers when the game was pretty much decided.

Exactly. Games are won in the final 10 minutes, Lofton was MIA, as was most of the team. In the past however Lofton put the team on his back. For one reason or another it isn't there for him this season.

We may be down, but don't disrespect us in a building that has seen more glory than Tennessee could muster in six lifetimes.

Nice way to put words in their mouths while you are slamming UT, Mr. Forde.

I love it. Everyone around here was kissing Pat's a$$ for including Pearl in his "Bucket List" column the other day, now he's anti-UT. What a joke. There's not a more objective guy in the media than Forde. We rolled into Rupp Arena acting like we were the second coming of Vegas '90 and got the taste slapped out of our mouth for it. Those are the facts. If you're going to bring bravado to the gym, you better back it up with action. We failed miserably at that last night.

I agree we can't just roll into Rupp like we own the place and everything Forde said is somewhat true. I mean we have never accomplished much, dont get me wrong im excited about this season, but we have to give Kentucky's program the respect the deserve. With this being said is it really a slap in the face to wear earrings during warmups. I really dont get how that is disrespectful. Also did anyone at the game notice KY did not stay on the court for the national anthem? I find that somewhat disrespectful

You are still missing the point. It is ok to roll into Rupp like you own the Cats if you are ready to kick their ass. UT wins and the earrings are never even mentioned.

no we don't. I would fully expect our players to absolutely ignore KY's basketball history. That's the only way to make it immaterial. I'm sure they want us to ooh and aah, but I want us to not give a rat's arse. Respecting the game and the opponent's court / crowd, that's a different matter.

So if the Titanic never sank then water would have never been mentioned?

Exactly, we didn't hear a lot about the herd of punks that were the early 90s UNLV squad because they demolished everyone (except Duke in that pesky little final 4 tilt).

ok, it would probably have been better for me to say not to come in OVER confident. being confident is great and yes we probably should not be thinking about their achievements come game time. Simply put, you are right if we win none of this crap is mentiones.

I am probably the biggest athlete apologist on this board. However, even I have to say that Moses Scurry, Anderson Hunt, and David Butler weren't exactly good citizens.

even their good citizens were iffy. LJ wasn't Mr. Rogers. Didn't know much about Basnight, but presume him guilty by association.

Can't remember the name of the big center from UGA that transferred out there after being booted from the Dawgs' squad, but he frickin pulled a butter knife on a friend of mine outside a C store to steal his milk. UNLV gladly welcomed him.

The most appropriate post today! Well except for mine of course.

LJ was an OK guy. Greg Antony and Stacey Augmon were both sound citizens.

Hat knows names to the point of being spooky. I asked him a while back about a AND 1 player and he knew who I was reffering to in flash.
