Not extremely confident about next week, but I do love that they'll be traveling far away two weeks in a row.
It will be another low scoring game.

The Panthers can win this game, but it will take a huge game from the the offense and Cam Newton. I don't see Smitty making a huge impact given his recent injury and age, but I think Cam can slice and dice the 49ers defense with his legs. The conservative Cam needs to fall by the wayside from here on out. We'll need performances from him similar to those in his rookie season to go all the way.


As a sidenote, 49er fans are unbelievably cocky about this game. I don't really understand that...

I definitely wanted the Eagles as well, but I feel we at least match up better with SF than GB, and we should have some confidence from beating them at their place.

It might have to do with the fact that the niners have won 5 super bowls.

I'm just saying that when a team wins a lot of championships, some of the fans tend to think that their team is unbeatable in the postseason.

Well the opposite of what I had hoped happened this weekend.

But I'm kind of glad the 9ers are favored. Carolina has done well playing as "underdogs" this year

I usually get less confident as the week goes on, but I'm actually feeling better and better about this game. I hate that Hardy has bronchitis, but I'm sure they'll have him going full-Kraken mode by Sunday.
Panthers are going to win, and Harbaugh/Kaepernick will pout.
Can't wait!

I can't say I'm confident in either team one way or another. I'm just hoping for the best and a good game.
