Carolina Panthers

Can we replace Shula with Mark Trestman before Saturday?

Agreed. The sole reason they lost most of the games this season was the lethargic offense. The defense did take a dip this season, but the offense did not pick up any of the slack.

Offense still is not very explosive and once they get inside the red zone and short yardage situations, everything seems to fall apart quickly. That's on coaching. Not calling the correct plays according to the situation.

They should be able to handle Ryan Lindley at home, but I'm still tempering my expectations. I do think the defense is legit after making some personnel changes mid-season, but the offense is inconsistent, though the offensive line play has really improved. To get DeAngelo Williams back would be a boost as he's a good receiver out of the backfield.

I agree with DeAngelo providing a boost, but only as a 3rd down back. Stewart has the hot hand and is the better runner right now and should get the majority of snaps.

How about both in the backfield at the same time? The Flexbone with three legitimate running threats has worked well in the past.

In certain situations I like it. I mostly liked it when DWill and Stew were rotating and Tolbert was in there and running well. He seems to be off this season for some reason. Could be weight. I know he's a big fella, but man, he's huge this season.

I don't like the idea of involving Williams. Stewart is hot right now, so I'd like to stick with him and Tolbert.

Good God. Arizona has ZERO chance of marching the field, and we give them short fields to work with. MERRY ****ING CHRISTMAS!

Rivera's house is on fire this morning.
What a weird, weird season this has been in Charlotte for off the field stuff.

He and his family are okay, btw.

Don't think they get it done, especially since it's on the road. If they do want to pull the upset though, Newton will have to be near perfect.

I think it's going to be an ugly, low-scoring, defensive slugfest. Four quarter game. I just don't know if Carolina can generate enough offense.

And the real Riverboat Ron will have to show his face. Oh, and Bersin will need to catch the ball!
