Carolina Panthers

Two weeks in a row KB has dropped a touchdown.
The passing game is horrible right now. Cam is either over throwing by a mile, or the receiver can't catch it.
No playoffs this year, I'm afraid.

This sucks to watch. The play is there, had defenders beat, but can't get it done.

Totally agree, and the sad part of it all is that this is by far the worst division in football, but the Panthers can't capitalize on it. The Oline and Secondary continue to be a problem, and management should be exhausting all options to find some serviceable bodies back there.

Steven Smith commenting on how he is noticing that Newton seems to always be alone and separated from his teammates. I have actually noticed the same thing and even going back to college, he was the same way.

So with a little help from Da Bears on MNF, this team that once lost six in a row this season will control their own destiny for the division crown.

Look out Panthers the Falcons have their claws out and are hunting for an NFC South Championship.

Where are you guys at with Ron Rivera? I haven't kept up with Carolina as well this year.

I don't have any feelings about him right now. This year I feel like there were a couple games that we should have won over a tie or a loss. It is hard when we looked so good last year, but we changed the dynamic of our team and it is just not clicking. The stupidity of some of the decisions of these young guys is annoying as heck to watch.

He'll be back next season. They've played this season with bargain bin OTs, they've cut some underperforming vets during the season and are riding with a bunch of young guys, while also paying their top defensive player somewhere around $17mil and he's missed essentially the entire season due to his off-field DV issues. It's been pretty ugly most of the season, but given the makeup of the roster, and how much better the young guys have been than the vets they replaced, the future is looking up. I don't expect any miracles this season, if they even make the playoffs, but stranger things have happened.

Should definitely be sitting at 9-6 right now instead of 6-8-1. Gave away a win in Cincy (tie) and should have beaten both Seattle and Atlanta at home.

Rivera should survive but Shula should not...despite what happens in Sunday afternoon.

I think Mike Smith is out after the season no matter what happens. 7-9 and the Playoffs still wont be good enough to keep his job. If Atlanta had been able to go 9-7 then he probably would be back in 2015.
