You act like the fans did not give him a fair chance. I supported Dooley even though he had no good excuse for losing to Kentucky last year. Believe me that was hard to get over. Go back and look at how much the fans showed up for the Florida game. He just fails every time. It's not just one thing. Let me make a list for you and tell me when the scale as tipped towards failure.

Lost to Ky (worst Ky team in at least 20 yrs imo)

Has not beat ranked SEC school in 3 yrs as coach
20 or 21 point underdog to Alabama in year 3 as coach at home and loses by more.

Losing record b4 got this job

Lost 7 coaches from staff in one year

On track to be worst defense in from 1900 to present

Again I wanted him to do well, but enough is enough

I am sure I am forgetting more if anyone cares to add

Dooley to Gruden. Youre crazy as hell to take this job....this fan base has no touch with reality and really no patience.

"Gave him a fair chance"?? He's not even through his 3rd year! And half his roster was injured in his second year. I'm not saying he hasn't had his shortcomings, he has and they have been costly. But giving the guy a "fair chance" is not something I think this fanbase will ever be accused of.

I know and understand about injuries in his 2ND YEAR, even with that I do not see any reason to lose to that Kentucky team (others Ky teams yes). The other thing I forgot to mention is both last year and this year the team not only does not improve from week to week, BUT THEY GET WORSE. Your entitled to your opinion, I just do not think you are being fair by saying fans are not after Dooley has yet to win a quality SEC game 3 years in( edit: 2 1/2 with one quality SEC team left to play. )JMO:hi:

Look what they are doing for me and coach Fulmer. They extended contracts the year before a firing." I" starting coaching at Georgia and want to finish there." Follow your dreams.

It's the Fans Fault Damnit!

Didn't you know that the fans control recruiting,

and the fans control how the team plays from week to week,

and the fans have caused Tennessee to have the worst defense in our history this year,

and the Fans made Dooley switch to the 3-4,

and the Fans are responsible for numerous procedure penalties and too many men on the field penalties,

and the Fans have forced Cheney to make those many bone-headed play calls,

and the Fans are the reason the team laid down against UK last year and Florida and Bama this year!!!

Dont you know it has nothing whatsoever to do with the Coaching Staff.

I was trying to explain this earlier too. I also forgot to say Dooley has done a bad job of dealing with Bray and Rogers. I understood at first because he had so little talent on roster, but it continued on to year 3 too.
