Can we win out?

The amazing thing is, we could win out and yet the Bowling Green game could still be our best win. The SEC East is that bad this year.

I actually think we will score a good amount on them. 28-10 type game I can see it being

See above.

It's going to be like one of those 17-6 or 20-9 type games probably.

Looking closer than it should, but not really that close (because that offense should even take the field more than half of their drives).

You don't think UGA finishes still ranked?

Man I hate to say it because of what happened, but after watching their game against Missouri I kind of doubt it. Without Chubb they seem to pretty much be lost. What are they now, 25th? They still have games against Florida, Kentucky, at Auburn and at Georgia Tech.

I really don't think our fans gave us enough credit for the BG win- they are a very solid football team. I'd say they'd definitely beat Vandy, Missouri, SCAR, and North Texas. Given that Kentucky has one score wins against Eastern Kentucky and Louisiana Lafayette, I think that game would be close.

8-4 was the goal to begin with. 8-4 and go to a bowl, possibly be 9-4 and go into the off season with some momentum

Have it backwards on the first. Great defense, beyond non-existent offense.

We'll win, but it's going to be an ugly, lower looking score like 17-6 or 20-9....something where it looks like it was an ugly, closer game on the outside, but the reality was it was never even in question because the other offense was so bad it might as well have just taken knees all game.

The only reason I say beating Mizzou that badly is by the time we play them I feel like the D won't even care anymore.

It would be a disappointment if we don't. Kentucky is decent but we've competed and should have beaten much better opponents. North Texas lost to a d2 school by like 60, USCjr is down, and I don't need to touch on Mizzou or Vandy if you watched even 5 minutes of their game tonight.

Kentucky is bad. 5 blowout wins for us to end the season, if not its a head scratcher

Kentucky usually plays us pretty tough though at home. I feel like they keep it fairly close until near the end of the 3rd when we will pull away. I agree that we should win the remainder of the games handily. Vandy and Mizzou can't score above 14 and USCjr has Pharoh Cooper and that's about it.

Every single remaining thing on the schedule minus Mizzou and Vandy's defenses is pure trash. Zero excuses if you don't run through that at 5-0 with ease.

Mizzou can't score a TD at all. Lol

This has to be the season where we show we are better then the teams left on our schedule. The way we played Oklahoma,Florida,Arkansas,UGA, and Bama showed that we are knocking on the door. So we have to beat the UK's. USCe, and Missouri's of the conference. We all know what could of been this season but the big games are done with, now we have to take care of the rest, hopefully get a bowl win. Then come in next year and start beating the big boys and not just win the East but contend for the entire SEC and Playoffs. This team has the talent to do it.

thats it in a nutshell.

Vols will lose against South Carolina and Missouri. So 7-6 is realistic.

Right now, Missouri's offense is absolutely dead in the water. They have scored a total of 12 points in the last three games. One of the analysts stated that the last time an SEC team scored six or fewer points in three consecutive games was Kentucky in 1996, when they scored 3,3, 0, and 7 points vs. Cincinnati, Indiana, Florida and Alabama. See Kentucky Historical Scores.

Can we all agree that we have absolutely zero excuses for not winning out in the regular season at this point? If people want to continually bash some of us that don't think Butch is the answer that's fine but he has to have some accountability. Kentucky, North Texas, South Carolina, Missouri, and Vandy isn't exactly daunting.

If they trip up against any of these opponents there are no excuses IMO.

I do agree. Butch is doing some good things but with the schedule we have left, there's no margin for error, because as people have said all along, 7-5 or worse is underachieving.
