Exactly... I know people like us, will be blasted for saying this, but there is no way.... no possible way, that we should look THIS bad to THIS team.... Something is amiss.... Conspiracy theorists, please take over....
Just wondering. We need to. This game seems like they are trying to throw it. Anybody see Pete Rose in the crowd?
Yes, a player's Scholarship can be renewed each Season. I recall Spurrier asking a few players not to come back after he got to USC, and Saben asked Rick Clausen to move on after 2 years at LSU.
Gunner
I heard Brent Hubbs say that MH has told the search firm...that all scholarship offers will have to be honored by the new coach. That must be part of the search criteria. As far as existing scholarships, I have no idea
scholarships are one year at a time, so yes, they will be evaluated by the new staff
There must be some kind of NCAA bailout for cases like this.
Correct. Scholarships are yearly renewable contracts.
The right thing to do is honor the commitments UT made.
See above. These kids had other choices and chose UT.
I believe the NCAA's stand is that you commit to a school, not a coach.
No, a coach should not be forced to deal with the dreck someone else recruited. If the new guy cleans house, so be it.
i am not talking about the new players coming in ( reading the title of the thread is always helpful before you correct someone) of course they have their scholarships....the existing players on scholarship will be evaluated by the new staff
