Can Tennessee football be fixed? I’m not asking if Pruitt should be fired or about the numerous mistakes of the past 15 or more years. I’m asking if this program is doomed to mediocrity forever.

My nephew was born in 1998. He’s really never seen a dominant Tennessee team that he can remember. You’ve lost a Generation of potential fans and recruits to other SEC teams. How do you stop the bleeding.

Winning is a habit, but so is losing. Tennessee now has the image of a losing program. It doesn’t matter if we have top facilities or we get 4 or 5 star recruits, we don’t do anything with it.

How do we fix this mess? Can we fix this mess? And will it happen in my lifetime? I’ll always be a Vol fan, but they are a painful team to follow.

Having doubts now. Could be our recruits go elsewhere now. We have not proved to be able to develop talent even when we get SEC talent

Yes it can be fixed but you cant hire a guy that might get it done. You gotta hire a guy that has got it done. At a higher level. Not like Cincinnati not La.tech.

We have to get a great qb and play him and let him develop

Yes, it can be fixed, but accountability is critical, UTAD needs to report directly to the University president, not Blonde Donde or the mindless chancellor that hired John Curry, Fulmer should be fired, Pruitt should be strongly encouraged to seek other opportunities in the NFL, more akin to his skill set and the university president, who saved the loss of Rick Barnes to UCLA, should assemble a committee and a search agency to hire an athletic director and head football coach familiar with the contemporary environment of the competitive framework of the SEC.

Will not happen with this coach or staff. No development.
A complex but good defense that takes LBers and DB's a long time to learn. We were hindered by a lack of spring practice. The offense is antiquated. We're not going to ground and pound any team for 4 qtrs. We don't even have a TE. Ain't but one remedy.......fire the entire offensive staff ASAP !!!!!!! I'm including Fulmer's pet Tee also.

Not under Pruitt. TN recruits in near the upper echelon but plays like Vandy. Zero player development. Players don’t respect the coaches. Pruitt has lost the team. Apparently the residents are running the asylum.

Hire a coach who knows how to develope college kids and enjoys recruiting.
Who that guy is , well that's beyond my pay grade.
We have a bunch of retreads as assistants, all were let go and are past their prime.
Lane Kiffin was the best fit , to bad he didn't see the big picture when he was here. Would already be competing for SEC titles on a regular basis.
His Ole Miss experiment will be just like Dan Mullins at MSU.
Have a few good seasons , but still won't outrecruit aTm, Ala, LSU, Auburn.
Maybe he will come back here and build a winner quickly.

case in point - Lady Vols BB - kept a loser for to many years and now the program is in ruins -- same thing happening with football if they keep this Pruitt loser another year

It can be, but I don't think it will be. We wait too long with lame duck coaches and watch while better candidates are taken.

Money talks. Time for UT to get in or get out.
They've been out for a while now. Main problem is a bunch of losers are running things. They are the type that only looks at the bottom line as far as money goes. They are more than happy to not do anything different as long as the money keeps rolling in. You see, they don't think there is a problem as long as the money keeps flowing.. They don't care about a winning program and they damn sure don't care about the fans perspective.

Money flowing? No problem...

Money stops flowing? Big problem..
