Look, I hated Danny Wuerffell. Yes he was a Christian, and yes he said nice things, but the man played for Spurrier. Furthermore he was unreal in how irritating he was as he rubbed his hands together and blew on them before every snap. When he ran he slid down 3 yards shy of an oncoming defender. I despised him and I was so proud Peyton was our QB instead even when D.W. won.

Tim Tebow? The kid enjoys contact. The kids speech after the Ole Miss loss? He was almost crying because of how angry he was with himself over losing. The kid does trick plays, he does normal plays, he does running plays.

There are no shots of him drunk at a party and you know if they existed they would be out there. Other players at UF shoot AK 47's, he finishes off a workout and then he heads to the hospital to make balloon animals for pediatric cancer patients. I mean seriously.

I wanted Scott Frost and Matt Jones to make it as QBs even though neither did. I hate Florida more than I hate Alabama, more than I even hate Notre Dame, but as I think about Tim Tebow after his last SEC media days, I cannot say I hate him. Would I like to see him temporarily sidelined by vomiting into his helmet after an Eric Berry blitz? Sure, on the 19th of September, but all the rest of the year I cannot help but wish the guy the best. He is a true star, and he shines on and off the field.

I certainly don't "love" him. He has absolutely wiped the floor with us in his tenure. But, I have to respect him as a human being.

Football is a game. Some players transcend the game with their off the field activities.

IMO, Peyton and Tebow are both good upstanding citizens. They are both men you would like you're own son to emulate. Peyton is put on a pedestal and elevated to God like status because he played at UT. Tebow is despised because he plays at Florida (for Urban Meyer). I like Tebow. I would pick him for 'my team' 3 times a day and twice on Sunday....

Well written and so very true. I CANNOT make myself like him for the way he has ran over us. I also CANNOT dislike him for the fact of how great of a guy he is off the field. He is someone that anyone should want their kids to want as a role model. And more than that Volnation like it or not there is no better leader of a team in the nation. But I still agree I could stand to see Berry hit him and turn him a 360 like the guy from BAMMER!!

Tebow is a tool, its all an image as that girl with the humongous boobs proves. Its just a matter of time till he starts abusing drugs and beating prostitutes...just kidding, he seems like a fine upstanding fellow, but the answer to the question is NO, a real Tennessee fan must despise Tebow its just nature.

IMO, it's perfectly OK to respect a player even if you hate the team he plays for.

Per Tebow he's not getting any. One of those dumb sports writers down there actually asked him if he was a virgin. I guess it was somewhat relevant considering how he loves to go on and on about his religious beliefs, but I thought that was creepy as hell still.

I find solace in knowing that at the very least he is not hitting it. (and by hitting it, I mean, well you know what I mean)

I wish I knew how to photshop. I would use the top picture and place her into a UT bikinni. That would be nice! Use those floatating devices down the Tennessee River!

That certainly is a dumbass question to ask a guy from a defending National Champion team at a media days event. Dude should've been slapped, dragged out of the building by huge men and stripped of his media credintials.

Love him? No but I got mad respect for a guy with that much heart and such a desire to win

Maybe he really is a great guy; I don't know, I've never met him. But I've seen him taunt opposing fans and opponents, as well as acts that seemed to bring attention to himself, and for that I think he's a douche.

TT is a great football player, one of the best I have watched. He also seems to be as good of a person. Can't stand the team he plays for, but I don't hold that against him personally.

No. Tennessee is my #2 team, but I still hate Tebow. I hated sitting in Neyland and watching that d-bag with a smug grin and the thousands of fans worshiping everything he did. Screw that.
