Hour and 6 minutes away from the Vol Walk and there’s just a handful of vol fans scattered around. Doesn’t bode well for opening game attendance.

honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if attendance isn't all that great for today's game. I think we if win this one convincingly, we'll have a solid turnout against a better opponent (BYU) next week (with potentially the checkerboard Neyland "theme" going on)

Easily the lowest number of people I’ve ever seen on campus this close to game time.

The UCLA game 27 years ago taught me to never go to an early season game in the middle of the day. People (including my wife and Smokey) were dropping like flies because of the heat.

They moved their game from Jacksonville and they have a major hurricane coming right at them, I'd say they have a pretty good excuse

Not surprising it's dead. There's tens of thousands of tickets unsold including almost full sections in the lower level.
