Cam Newton's post super bowl press conference

Good football talent.

Crybaby, whiner with zero class is what he's always been too.

He wins and runs it in the other teams face like a immature child.

He loses and whines and walks off the stage to cry like a baby.

He's always been totally classless.

He's a huge disappointment to the entire NFL as their MVP and the face of the NFL.

Condolences to all loyal Panthers fans for this huge loss and having a crybaby as their QB, he's just pathetic as a person.

Rise To The Top...VFL...GBO!!!
Pathetic as a person? Perhaps you should see what the guy does with charity before you dub him pathetic. The guy is a poor sport, but pathetic is a bit harsh.

Every interview I saw with Cam this week it was obvious how great he thought he was...and how mistreated. People don't give him the cerebral credit as Peyton, or Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady but NO ONE has EVER seen a QB like HIM. That's why they're so MEAN to him...and all because he celebrates! Poor mistreated abused unappreciated Cam Newton.

You know...I wasn't too surprised about his behavior at the press conference. Losing is hard. It's even harder after losing a game that 90% of the "smart" people predicted you would win handily. I get that. Tough thing for anyone to do.

BUT--

Cam Newton is a PRO. He gets paid millions of dollars to play a game. And part of his job responsibility is to get dressed, address the media post game win or lose, and to fulfill the duties on a team leader and representative with maturity and professional decorum.

Over the past few weeks, Peyton made sure the focus stayed on the TEAM and not himself. Cam? Not so much. And while Cam warmed up in gold lame cleats with MVP on them basking in his victory, Peyton had the names of the murdered Chattanooga Marines on his.

Did Peyton put the team on his back and carry them to victory? Nope. He didn't expect to. Cam Newton did, and his failure to do so obviously hurt. But Cam is not a KID. He's a grown man, who has a responsibility to act like a pro and THAT he did not do.

He will learn. I hope. Losing last night may have been the best thing to have happened to him. But I don't feel particularly sorry for him and definitely don't think he's being mistreated today. He brought all this on himself.

He could do a lot worse than to take Peyton as a role model and EARN that respect he thinks he's entitled to.

But he's human...

Cam is a man who grew up with a shady as hell preacher for a dad who shopped him around to the highest bidder.

Peyton was born with a silver NFL spoon in his mouth and was groomed by his dad, a former NFL QB.

No difference. Peyton dropped his towel and shook his junk in front of a trainer. Eli got into trouble for boozing it up. But Cam is the only one to do something immature.

All hail the GOAT.

My goodness your grapes are sour today...running around every thread trolling Peyton on behalf of a man who--let us not forget--was too much of a liability for URBAN MEYER and FLORIDA to keep on their team.

Poor little Roustabout...acting just like your idol. Classless.

No he isn't. "No one's ever seen nothing like me before." (double negative his btw)

If you set yourself above yoyr peers like Cam did, either live up to it or own up if you miss the mark. Otherwise a little humility goes a long way.

Did you want to see him cry at the press conference? Would that have satisfied your need to see him as a broken man? You don't get to be where he is without being a little cocky. There is a private/public Cam, just like there is a private/public Peyton.

To be honest, the defense won that game for the Broncos. Peyton just happened to be the starting QB. Peyton is a great ambassador for TN, but he played like crap. If Dobbs or any other TN QB played like that on a Saturday, VN would have a coronary. Peyton is still 0-fer against Florida. Cam did not put himself above his peers, the media did. The media loves to build up athletes, just to tear them down. For you to feel like Cam owes you some type of penance is basically retarded, for lack of better words.

So you are saying he has an excuse for not showing a little class? Defend him if you feel you must but that was a pathetic display. Also, in defending him you want to criticize a man who has displayed class throughout his career. Do you have an agenda you want to put forth?

Did Peyton ever present himself in his big losses in the manner that Newton did last night? Has Brady ever? Would Russell Wilson ever?

No, because they aren't caught up into themselves like Newton.

Cam shows both on and off the field that how immature and self concerning he is. Its pretty sad...

The NFL should suspend him.......actually should kick him out of the league for good. Cam is probably the worst player ever to put on a uniform.......even worse than the drunks, drug users, murderers, wife beaters, etc.

Yes, they have all acted like asses in their losses. However they are all different people with different personalities, different upbringings ect. Asking that question is like asking do all Vol fans act the same after a loss...no we don't. You are celebrating his loss like you had a part in it.

hes a leader, his teammates look to him for answers and when you sit around and piss and moan in your presser, what do you think kind of image that gives to your teammates? time to put your big boy pants on Cam

Most are still shocked that the panthers dropped Hardy and kept Newton. According to Jerry jones, Hardy is a real leader.

Lol. The butthurt oozes in this post.

He's a classless punk who made that evident last night, and beforehand, by playing the race card to any criticism of him...
