Because (seemingly) 90% of the time or more, they're catered to by their HS coaches and not disciplined on the field or off the field because the coach knows that if the player succeeds and gets a scholly to a big school, it makes the him as the coach and the team look better.

JMO. No one holds these kids accountable or teaches them what it means to NOT be a ritard, and how to make good decisions.

There should be a prerequisite course for all football/basketball players call "Decision Making 101".

Felony theft. This is a serious charge. If true, he's absolutely gone. Dooley isn't going to keep this kid around to pacify the old guard in Memphis. UT needs to recruit better in Memphis; but cleaning up in Atlanta would be even better. This idea that championships are won by building a fence is ridiculous.

I don't particularly care about the Memphis recruiting base. It just is what it is. Memphis doesn't need affirmation from UT and UT doesn't need affirmation from Memphis.

Absolutely. Recruiting base in Virginia, NC, and Georgia is just as close or closer to Knoxville than Memphis. Who cares what the kids home address is?

How many memphis kids really work out for our football team anyway? Last one I remember of any worth was cedric wilson.
