Cam Clear Arrested (merged)

If he stole from his team mates, I don't see how you could try to sweep this under the rug. It would be really hard to regain the trust by his team again.

If we can sweep Da'Rick Rogers' issues under the rug, this should be pretty easy.

To be arrested for possession of stolen property, he would have still have had to had stolen property in his posession, if everything was cleared up earlier, and he gave the property back, how could they charge him then for possession?

I wouldn't put a distinction on having it at the time, and stealing it to begin with. But that's just me.

Seriously dude? lol

Yes, seriously. But I don't get the idea that a parent would have to press the charges. We're not talking about a car with a title in the parent's name. The items would likely be considered gifts, making them the property of the student. Also, I don't get how a coach or anyone in the AD could sweep something like this under the rug in the first place. Don't offenses like this fall under the university's student code of conduct?

Guess you can get a person out of the thug life, but can't get the thug life out of a person.

"Stealing in Knoxville"

And I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Big Orange
In the middle of the pouring rain, I stole everything
Coach Dooley -- won't you overlook me
'Cause, I've got a first class FREE ticket
And I'm as blue as a boy can be..

Some people do it for the thrill as sad as that sounds. I had teammate in high school who had everything. Never broke , never did without. Loved to steal stuff. Not because he actually wanted it. Just to see if he could get away with it. He eventually got caught and the only people shocked were his parents.

There is a guy like that at my work, dude will steal the stink out of ****.....

Could be anything:

-he may have taken it
-he may have told people to take it
-he may have bought it, which is still illegal
-he may have been the ringleader
-he may have gotten caught up in something too deep
-he may just have some Travis Henry in his blood somewhere

I just like to see the chips fall before making a judgement, though it sounds crazy to many.

Anyone besides Hyams reporting this? If so, I can't find it.

Also, if he was arrested @ 5pm and in jail by 7pm, how often does the 24 hour arrest list update? He's not on it yet.

Well he isn't on the Knox County 24 Hour Arrest List, which is a collection of all those arrested in the last 24 hours along with their mugshots and charges....

So what would possession be, they didn't say selling - steeling- the OP said possession. the cops would have to have proof.
