Cam Clear Arrested (merged)

If Cam Clear represents thuggery that ishappens Memphis, then would East Tennesseans be considered incestial people? I mean it is a stereotype and Daniel Hood was guilty of it? At least let a rape of his cousin happen.

ahhhh, his comment was on GPA

And there are at least 5 five threads related to this and no thing concreteyou has comea out aboutis what happened other thaninstruments him beinga arrested, and these drama queens have already convicted him AND somehow a while city is to blame. Well I blame the incestual attitude on East Tennessee for what happened to Hoods cousin. Wow. That is easy.

easy? It's still wrong (and poorly written too)

**** off.

you stay classy Memphis

sucks when it is a black man that gets this treatment huh?

Ever football player that needs a computer would get loaned a computer if they really needed it anyway. This is how they study the playbook and watch the tape nowadays.

Ainge said today on tnsr that we dont have all the facts and to give the kid a break and too hold on. I hope he's right this guy is going to be a hell of a talent

It would be a HUGE series of coincidences if Cam Clear wasn't involved in the theft somehow. What are the odds that electronics devices were stolen ~a month ago and his name was rumored then. And now a stolen laptop from another incident is in his possession? I would be shocked if he wasn't involved, and when/if proven, he needs to be kicked off the team.

I agree. But correlation, and proximity do not equal causation. Also, the amount of internet chatter and speculation does not equal truth either (if so, Randy Shannon would be wondering around Knoxville today as a paid employee of our beloved Vols). If you want to see a prime example of exactly what I am referring to, I suggest a revisit of the Duke Lacrosse case.

Again, I am not suggesting he is innocent nor am I suggesting he is guilty. I am saying I reserve the right to try to remain disconnected from the internet hype and speculation.

huh?

:weird:

did I miss something?
I thought Newton was in the NFL.

The wide ranging accusations from Basilio were still not completely accurate, and him getting arrested for a completely different incident doesn't make the things he said any more true.

HAHA. I choose to believe that you actually believe this, for the laughs.

Umm, I think your are wrong.
There was an incident. It was handled internally apparently to everyone's satisfaction . . . just like a lot of other incidents at programs all across America. What was Dooley supposed to do? Hold a press conference alerting the public?

Part of the problem...

the way I read it he was making a jest about the charges being over or under a certain amount and not being concentrated on the fact the he allegedly stole something from an athlete. I kind of find it funny that the KPD makes distinctions between the amounts of what is stolen. Probably reasonable to do, but it strikes me as funny.

This attitude is kinda strange. Stealing a laptop from a team mate or another athlete is taking someone's property. IT DIDN'T BELONG to whomever took it. If it turns out to be Cam Clear and it is the 2nd incident in as many weeks he needs to be gone. The AD needs to pack his stuff, put him on the street and call his mama to come get him. Ask yourself, if a coworker stole your personal laptop at work would you just laugh it off and say "now you rascal you, don't you go stealing my stuff again, you good ole guy you" or would you want him fired?

Your post was kind of inane and since you are the king of deleted posts, I just suggested you delete this one too since it didn't really make much sense.

Comparing work to college is laughable. If a co-worker was smoking a bong in the break room and getting drunk while he was on the phone with a customer.... give me a break. My post makes perfect sense but perhaps you need common sense to understand it.

I never said he shouldn't face some kind of punishment, but to completely kick him out of the University is crazy. When the players that held up those people at the gas station, they needed to go. That kind of behavior is unacceptable. But taking a laptop?
