If this has even 5% credibility, put him on the road tonight back to Memphis. I don't care what your upside is or what our depth may be, you are a cancer to this team and an embarrassment to the program.

I have zero first hand knowledge but ....experience also tells me, good chance you placed yourself in this position. In most cases if their is smoke... their is a fire.

Nm just saw it.. He just said that as football players, they make mistakes too. Could mean anything.. But it does look bad for Cam... He's supposedly a bright kid too.. Just sucks if true.

I see the sports animal didnt have no trouble yelling Cam Clears name all over air. But nothing about heather..

SIGH!!!!!!!!!! Gotta agree and while looking at other sources which verify Cam was arrested, hoping just the same it's all smoke and no fire.

While I admit this happens at other schools, I don't want players here who give the UT a bad name. We've had enough nega-publicity the last few years.
We certainly don't need more as we try to crawl out of the purgatory we've been in.

If the arrest is all factual, I have t, despite my pro player mindset say, "He's has to go." For those who see this as a chance to badmouth UT's players in general with some holier than thou categorical claims, read this first: Out of bounds: College athletes and crime - CBS News

OK, final update on this. Nothing to do with a previous alleged theft, although this could bring those allegations back to life. Cam Clear's arrest was on a new charge, on a laptop reported stolen last week from Gibbs Hall by a student-athlete in a sport other than football.

He was caught with the laptop in his hands on Tuesday after he used it to access the campus network. Since the laptop was registered with OIT at UT, a notice popped up because it had been reported as stolen. OIT called it in, UTPD responded to the area where the computer was logged on to the campus wireless network, and he was arrested with the computer in his hands.
