Chavis will probably get the axe and be Foolmers scape goat just like Sanders was. Then he will move on and be totally dominate and turn a team around like Sanders has. Woodson KY QB said that after SAnders arrived the offense was wide open. Shows who has the raines up their in K- town.

I disagree with most of that.

1) We were back after the GA game - No way. We've been on a slow downward spiral since the NC (1998) with about only two good years of football. We aren't going to turn around an eight year trend in two weeks, no way.

2) I know you were just saying the best case scenario we have at least one more loss, more than likely two or more.

3) Fulmer doesn't deserve another year. His deserve-another-year was 2006 and 2007 after the a$$ beating we took in 2005. He's done for, stick a fork in him. He has NO more chances in my book.

But then, just about the time that UT starts pumping water over the side and recovering from the previous blunder (cue Jaws music), we're back at it again. Off into the dang shoals grinding and scraping. A captain who repeatedly steers the ship into the shallows, shoals, and reefs must be relieved. I hope that he'll be a Volunteer and step aside. It's time.

If USC beats us this week (and especially if it's lopsided), I think he has to go. He's had plenty of chances to beat his rivals, and their coaches are owning Fulmer. I just don't see a logical argument for keeping him.

I think UK is overdue to beat us - if that happens, I won't hold it against the staff as much as if USC beats us. Going 0-3 against Spurrier, Meyer and Saban doesn't bode well, especially given Fulmer's record against those guys in the past.

Am I the only one sick and tired of Will Overstreet ("I love those coaches over there." & "We had two freshmen starting as DB's." Will, game 6? frosh no more or is it development?) Pat Ryan, geeze, I thought he had guts! Maybe there TV contracts are contigent upon who is head coach? Coaches are very complacent and satisfied with their life at this point. Buyouts will flush them for a long time so, they are half-assed coaches with too much "weight" and huberous! Overpaid, absolutely!

Welcome to the board. Unfortunately football futility brings new membership, so if we won every game we would have somewhere around 3 members.

just to show you how bad it's gotten, consider the following quote from danny sheridan, in finebaum's saturday column: "Alabama is void of talent because of Mike Shula, and some clever lawyer should file a class-action suit against him to recover most of the $10 million paid to him. It's going to take (Nick) Saban at least three years to get this program to the upper echelon of the SEC and to be an equal of Auburn."

add to that the fact that five of the bama players were suspended before the game and you would reasonably expect that with a typical tennessee team, the actual score would be reversed, right?

that one stood out and when he ran across the field to get McCoy after his attempted lateral. Just leads me to believe it happens more often than fans get to see in a broadcast

You really need to check yourself in the mirror and take off the orange and white glasses. If you think your team doesn't have a problem that is obvious to everyone else, then you really are an apologist. And chastising Rex for being brutally honest and stating the fact is hardly right. I have known Rex and he is the biggest Vol fan and supporter I know. He is truer orange than the Great Pumpkin himself. UT should take a look around the landscape and see how longevity takes on a precedent, i.e. Penn State, FSU, etc.

Ultimately, the first step is to admit you have a problem. :)
