No, if it's before the whistle there are no limits...There was no difference between that hit and a receiver coming over the middle and getting his bell rung!
IMO, it's college wrestling with boxing gloves. I find it altogether unwatchable.
I don't have the gear to output.
Believe it or not, no biggie to me. I know what's in front of me.
Well given the current state of boxing, who doesn't?
. That said, the 'fighters' who fight for titles are determined by the owners, who will hype up these high school bullies turned adults to get a few ignorami to pay to watch it live.
There is no gentlemanly conduct, they grapple and kick rather than stand face to face respectfully and fight to determine the better man.
Please do not include any Tyson references in replies, as doing so will show a total lack of knowledge in boxing, and therefore no ability to debate the subject honestly
I understand.
My only point is. Based on what I read earlier in this thread it was a 'clear' helmet led, spearing penalty, no where near the action.
What I see is a debatable call within a yard of the ball carrier. You can't suspend players on that. Could a penalty have been called? That could have gone either way.
I think my next crusade will be on drilling someone when he's about to step out of bounds by head-butting. That's even more flagrant to me, and not just because I once saw a teammate get head-rammed about three yards out of bounds (which knocked him out for the season, I might add).
