We will also keep most of San Francisco (important tech hub), some of San Diego (military inportance) and most of rural CA that wants to stay...but we can negotiate the rest.

I have a couple buddies that live in Canada. One is in Alberta and works on the oil sands. He hates their government. Another one lives near Toronto and he’s an avid gun lover. He hates their idiotic gun laws.

Great idea, give away the worlds 5th largest economy and the gdp it brings to the US. Hate all you want, but our entire economy depends on California and other blue states. Maybe red states should be better run with their Republican legislatures to make up the difference. Oh right, they actually take more money than they put in.

Red States are more rural and help feed the Country. There is more to a Country than just GDP. Red areas need blue areas and vice versa. America works best when it works together but that hasnt happened for a long time. We are in a bad marriage.

At 1 am on April 15, 1912; the Titanic was one of the world’s largest ocean liners: by 3 am; it was at the bottoming the ocean.
California is HEMORRHAGING residents and businesses. They are loosing electoral votes and congressional representatives. Their largest city almost burned to the ground and they are currently working hard to finish the job. Wealthy taxpayers and tax paying businesses are bailing at an alarming rate and the State is suffering an obscenely large budget deficit. Their largest two largest cities have severe homeless crises, open air drug markets, and tent cities.
And the bottom line; California leads the nation in OUTBOUND U Haul rentals. Why is that I wonder? 🤔

If you could track it, you would probably find that they were paid for by USAID. So that means you and I paid for them.
