And anyone can defend themselves for a traffic violation. In most cases they’ll offer a reduced charge or reduce the fine. If you don’t want to accept that and fight the charge you can. Usually the judge will rule or you can even have a jury trial. The proposal to simply have tiered level of punishment based on income is ridiculous…no wonder you support it.
