The billionaires will leave Cali in droves if that state were to be granted a federal level government. They have no infrastructure. The amount of taxation required and skilled labor required to build it would take decades to get anything going. Without the support of the US Federal Government, there would be no powerplants at all. There federal deficit would begin in the trillions and explode.
A California bill seeking to limit restaurants to serving children water or unflavored milk with their meals passed the Assembly this week and is now making its way to Gov. Jerry Brown's (D) desk.
The bill, aimed at combating childhood obesity, would not preclude children or parents from ordering alternatives, however, according to ABC 7.
If Brown signs the bill into law, California would be the first state to have such a law, CBS Sacramento affiliate KOVR reported.
Only in our sissified society full of liberals would a plastic straw be a conversation piece.Well, if Cali does split off, Chick-fil-A won't be ableto stay open.
Hate chicken
Plastic straws
Plastic flatware
Enough to make liberal heads explode.

No, the attack was based upon a bunch of people asserting good riddance attitude about Cali leaving. It is a stupid shortsighted position to take. I have lived in California and, honestly, bar none it is, outside of its politics, a fantastic place to live. It has great beaches, fantastic history, gorgeous parks, mountains for skiing, desert areas for motorcycle riding and just the best climate of anywhere on earth. And it's economy greatly benefits the US
My claim is not baseless. The south takes in far more than it gives when it comes to federal tax dollars meaning that it is a net drain on the country. The same cannot be said for California. Your assertion that they are "shipping out retirees" is at best unsupported and at worst an outright lie.
Probably Pete Wilson , who was Governor during the 1990's. He signed the 3 strikes law, and they executed about a half dozen while he was in office.I just saw a stat that Governor Moonbeam has pardoned over 1100 people in California. Arnold pardoned 15, and Gray Davis pardoned zero. They showed another governor that also pardoned zero but I don't remember his name. just fwiw
